Would you like to change the theme of your Google Chrome web browser? Maybe you want to have something more exciting than the boring stock option that is provided with the default installation. Luckily for you Google provides a whole webpage of free theme options to choose to personalize your Google Chrome experience. Here is how to find and install new Google Chrome themes.
1.) Visit the Chrome Web Store
You can get to the Chrome Web Store by following this link: https://chromewebstore.google.com/category/themes
The page should look something like this:

2.) Choose a theme
Browse the different themes Google has to offer. They have different categories you can look through. As of 2025 the categories they offer are
- Artist Series
- Animals
- Art & Design
- Cars
- Colors
- Dark & Black
- Entertainment
- Games & Anime
- Minimalist
- Nature & Landscapes
- Space
- Other
3.) Install the Theme
In this example I will be installing the “pro grey” theme by https://weo-design.com/.

Click the “Add to Chrome” button in the top right of the page to install the theme to your Google Chrome Web Browser.
Finished
Once you click the “Add to Chrome” button. The theme will automatically be installed. If you are unhappy with the way the new theme looks, you can easily uninstall by clicking the “Undo” button that appears after installation.
