Scope This notice describes nv-samplr 1.0.1 for Windows. It does not describe every service on skaterbate.com or an independent download host. Visiting those sites, Instagram or other media pages is subject to their own notices. 2. Information sent by the plugin nv-samplr does not implement a skaterbate account, analytics, advertising, automatic sample upload or automatic crash-reporting service. The plugin does not send your recordings, sample library or local settings to skaterbate. The embedded WebView2 browser connects to the pages you visit and the configured homepage/search provider (Google by default). Those providers receive normal web requests, which can include IP address, browser/device information, search text, page requests and cookies. Website scripts and media players can make additional requests under those websites' practices. Microsoft WebView2 and its updater operate under Microsoft's terms and privacy policies. The Instagram and skaterbate.com links open your default browser only when you click them; the publisher links are not automatically loaded as tracking pixels or embedded social widgets. The Privacy button reads this local text without visiting a website. 3. Information kept on your computer Preferences, bookmarks, custom appearance settings and browser profiles are stored under %APPDATA%\skaterbate\nv-samplr. Browser profiles can contain cookies, login sessions, history, cache and other website storage. Treat that folder as private. nv-samplr is not an anonymous browsing tool. Samples are stored in your selected Sample folder, initially Documents\nv-samplr\Samples. Recorded and edited WAVs may have adjacent .wav.nv.json files with source URLs/titles, capture dates, duration and local parent/file paths. A SQLite catalog stores metadata for library browsing. URLs may contain private query strings, and paths may identify usernames or folders. Review metadata before sharing a sample folder. Your DAW can also store the sample path, browser URL and editor settings in its project. Existing preferences and appearance settings may be copied from the earlier %APPDATA%\NV Tools\nv-samplr folder without deleting or overwriting the originals. Custom image paths may continue to refer to images in that old folder. Old browser profiles are not automatically moved or removed. 4. Purpose, control and retention Local information supports browsing, recording/editing, source attribution, preferences and reopening DAW projects. You choose which pages to browse and when to record, export or drag files to another application. Those actions and any sharing of the files are under your control. The plugin has no scheduled expiry or automatic deletion of your sample library, saved settings or browser profiles. WebView2/sites may manage caches and cookies independently. Closing the editor leaves the live browser and recording session running while the plugin instance remains loaded. Stop recording/playback or unload the instance when finished. Uninstalling the plugin does not delete this local data. Close the DAW and standalone before manually removing settings/profile folders or the catalog. Back up audio and metadata first; deleting source files can break DAW projects. Do not delete the old brand folder if your custom artwork still references it. 5. Sharing and external services nv-samplr does not include functionality that sells or transmits your local sample library to advertising services. Websites visited in its browser, Microsoft components, the DAW and the download website can process data under their own terms. External services may operate in other countries. A saved source reference does not grant rights to redistribute recorded media. 6. Contact and requests Contact skaterbate through the Instagram link above for questions about this plugin or data you voluntarily send in a support message. Instagram/Meta processes messages under its own policy. Do not send passwords or sensitive recordings unnecessarily. skaterbate cannot retrieve or delete files stored only on your computer. Direct requests about a third-party page, browser provider or download host to that provider. 7. Changes Future plugin features can change these practices. Check the notice supplied with the version you use. Website advertising or analytics must be described in a separate website policy that matches the services actually deployed.
